Please tell us about some of the projects you have worked on recently, including their ideas and challenges?I just directed a short film for a high-end headphone company called Ultimate Ears, designed a box set for Criterion collection, made a chair as a sculpture for a group exhibition, and did an artist series snowboard. In the works currently I have a sunglass collaboration, a few exhibition catalogs for three incredible black artists, graphic branding for a furniture company, art directing a new magazine, and a solo exhibition.
I find pleasure in playing with different mediums. I don’t think being a “jack of all trades master of none” is a flaw — a certain level of versatility is what makes a well-rounded artist. Certainly if I were to focus on one medium or skillset, that will be my sharpest one — but I like to have as much fun with it as possible and try out new stuff when I can.
