In
addition to graphic design and art, you are also involved in video works. What
do you enjoy most about video production and what do you think can only be
expressed through video?
My favorite thing about
film is that if you can dream it, it can exist. Unlike design,
you have both motion and sound — that’s two
entire new senses to fulfill. But the challenge with directing is that it
typically takes some really big budgets to get in the door. Unless you can be
your own cinematographer/editor/colorist/sound designer, most people are pretty
much priced out of making the films they want.
