Your remix of River Red whilst having a world view representative of you, was also more poppy and quite familiar. What is your approach to remixing other people’s music?That was a really special project. I lived in Chicago for a few years for college, so I will forever love House Music and Detroit Techno after clubbing many nights away. I think Andras picked up on my sheer love for dance music from hearing my cover songs and approached me to do a remix. I don’t have much experience with remixes so I can feel out of place. But I think the remix works because Andras and I share a mutual appreciation for music and the will to take a chance on the unknown.
