Starting with a few questions about your background. I read that your father is an artist. Did you have an affinity or special interest in art from an early age? Also, please tell us what kind of environment you grew up in.
True, my father is a concrete artist. Called by different names in different languages, the Concrete Art movement emerged in the 1920s and 30s. It is characteristic of the movement that a work or its components has “no other meaning than itself”. Artists in this field often have staying power and work very intensively on specific issues related to pictorial processes and visual experience.
