What
is the most important thing you were taught or inherited from your parents?
The
most important thing I was taught or inherited by my parents is bringing people
together. And obviously music is a big part of that. That’s the reason
why it’s always referenced within my work. My parents
ran reggae clubs together in the 70s in Scotland for a number of years, and
they did it because they wanted to bring people together through music and
celebrate different cultures. That’s why I’ve inherited that same philosophy, which I do within my collections
and my shows each season.
