Kosuke Okahara

Starting with the W Eugene Smith fellowship for Ibasyo and the Getty Grant for Fukushima Fragments, you’ve received many awards. Has the increased name recognition from these acclaims led to any changes, such as being more free in what activities you undertake?
I’m sure there have been changes, but they are all personal experiences so it’s hard to say that things have actually become easier or the like. But, there has been positive impact in the sense that I’ve had more opportunities to exhibit my work.
