My father is also a retired art professor for painting and curated a gallery space in the southwest of Germany for many years together with colleagues. My mother worked as a primary school teacher and taught art, among other things. Mainly because of my father’s exhibitions and my parents’ connections to museums and galleries all over Europe, my brother and I traveled a lot in connection with art as children, spending many weekends in galleries and museums. We saw a lot, learned much about “seeing” and met personalities of character, like Eugen Gomringer, Vera Molnar and Gottfried Honneger.
