As you said, you’re known for your UA illustrations on the covers of the magazine Barfout! Is that what jumpstarted your career?Yeah. Once I started doing Barfout! the illustration jobs really began rolling in. Yoshida-san who I mentioned earlier also told me to do a special feature at her magazine, too. All of the sudden I’m doing a special feature in Illustration after getting rejected there so many times. That’s around when illustration completely took over as my main job.
