PALE BLUE DOT
United Arrows & Sons
2020

Ill-Studio conceived and designed General_Index x United Arrows & Sons collaboration Collection titled "Pale Blue Dot”.
The collection is named after “Pale Blue Dot”, a photograph of Planet Earth taken on February 14, 1990 by Voyager 1 from a record distance of about 6 billion kilometers. The name “Pale Blue Dot” was coined by astronomer and author Carl Sagan in his reflections on the photograph’s significance, documented in his 1994 book of the same name. Voyager 1 remains to this day the most distant human artifact from planet earth.
