The publication “Beograd—White City” is based on a ten days experience of the students in Belgrade in April 2016. In this publication they engage with the themes of individual and national identity, censorship, privatisation and governance in the context of a globalising city and it’s people. Their encounters speak of a country that is reorganising itself to negotiate its global image while straddling between its memories of the past and its dreams for a future at par with the world economy.
