Is it an improvised session?Yes, most of the projects I am involved in start with improvisation. We often play and record for hours and look for fresh ideas from there. When it was Orlando, the predecessor of Vanishing Twin, their leader Cathy Lucas often composed it, but now Vanishing Twin has often developed ideas born through jam sessions.
