door.link is designed as a space where music can be listened to with focus and attention. How do you see the role of visual elements in shaping the act of listening? To me listening with attention also means not overloading the experience. I’m not trying to build a whole visual direction around each mix. The image works more like a quiet complement, something that signals the beginning but doesn’t guide the experience.
The site was designed to do only what’s essential. It’s simple, functional and clear. It’s everything a person who wants to listen to music needs: a button to press play. Occasionally I leave traces of my presence, whether in the captions or in the mixtapes, as a reminder or a “proof” of humanity.
