His hands

Letters are the basic tool for the human affair of communication, and typefaces furnish the nuances and tones that could be called their voice. By nature, type design which is composed of letters with fundamental shapes cannot stand on its own through the emphasis of beauty and originality alone, and the essential elements of reasonability, comprehensibility and integration are required. Radim Peško draws out the emotions of the times whilst balancing them with all these necessary elements in unrivaled harmony. Innovation coexists within simplicity, and there is also humor, but it is never unnecessarily showy. At times eloquent, at times sincere, and having a special charm, his typefaces are a voice which reflects upon and speaks about the current moment in time, and that voice truly has humanity and culture. Finding freedom in the midst of limitations, becoming aware of new discoveries and questions, and proceeding flexibly and organically with affairs— it is his attitude that allows him to find such a perfect balance.
