There is no doubt that his roots and background are reflected within everything he creates, from his Jamaican and Scottish heritage and culture as well as the environment in which he has always been intimately connected with music. Furthermore, the keen insight and sensitivity that he has cultivated as a fashion designer are above reproach. Yet, in the cutthroat world of fashion, these alone would not have been enough for him to so clearly express his unique story, have it communicated widely and receive such support. More than any other factor, the trust and love he has for the energy that comes from his interactions with people are what has led him to where he is today.
