Saw a clip that went a bit viral last year—something about haku stuck with us.
They’ll be playing live on June 13 at Spotify O-Crest in Shibuya.






We recently came across a band that caught our attention. Their name is haku. The first time we saw them was in a clip from their Studio Session playlist on YouTube.

What stood out right away was their feel—as a band, as one living entity. It’s a vague way to put it, but that kind of vibe really matters. The four girls, all around 22 years old, come across as relaxed and unpretentious, with each of their personalities standing out just enough. What you see in the video feels genuine—they’re simply charming. And they seem to have great chemistry.

Each of their sounds—guitar, bass, drums—has a clear sense of taste and style, and the groove is cool without trying too hard. The vocalist’s voice has a tone that feels both natural and unmistakably hers. There’s something captivating about the way she moves as she sings. The lyrics don’t try to be clever or complicated—they feel honest. And the melodies flow gently and naturally, with just a touch of unexpected depth. It’s beautifully done.

Curious to see if they had any live shows coming up, we did a quick search—and sure enough, haku will be playing at a gig called Kessen wa Kinyōbi on June 13 (Fri). Tickets are still available, so if you’re even a little bit interested, it might be worth checking out. After all, the best way to experience a band is live.
