Do you think your personal background is related to why you are drawn to nature?

I think so. I was brought up in the middle of nature near the base of the mountains, not in the city. I felt close to nature every day. Even as a child I thought nature that had existed from time immemorial was more magnificent than anything else and beautiful, and nothing manmade could ever eclipse it. I still feel this way even today. These feelings are probably one of the reasons why I include nature in my works.
