Right now, I am doing more collaboration than solo work. Duos with Tyondai Braxton and Marina Rosenfeld, a quartet that extends the work with Lea where we have brought Henry Fraser and Cleek Schrey in to work with us, and this really great new trio I have with saxophonist Will Epstein and drummer Booker Stardrum called Play Time. I am enjoying this group so much partially because it is creating a situation where I get to concentrate on the pleasure of being an instrumentalist again. I play Moog keyboard bass in the group and just digging in as part of a rhythm section is the best feeling.
