I think it all
started with your pure creative drive, but now sustainability and upcycling are
at the core of your activities. Can you tell us how this awareness and message
became clear to you?
At the start, waste was a means of saving
money while I explored experimenting. However, as I continued creating and
learning, it became the message I wanted to convey. Waste has the potential to
be more, and all we have to do is try to see it as the solution rather than the
problem.
You have been
working with various companies and brands on special projects. What criteria do
you use to choose the companies with whom you collaborate? What are your requirements
for such an offer?
I try and focus on the overall goal. What is
it that we’re ultimately trying to
achieve when working together? Is it a step in the right direction? I try to be
mindful of why I’m doing something and the benefits,
not just financially but also educationally, emotionally, etc. A paycheck alone
doesn’t cut it for me. My manager and I also don’t shy away from asking hard questions. We’re
about learning as much information as possible to make the right decisions.
