Drumetrics is an artist collective, music production, and record label, but what is the origin of your activities as Drumetrics?The origin of Drumetrics derived from the original idea of Dirty Drums which is: recording vintage drums to create raw character tones, and everything else follows the drum.
What are the characteristics and strengths of Drumetrics, and what kind of music and ambiance can only be created by Drumetrics?We’ve been doing Drumetrics part-time as a hobby. The vision is to enjoy the little moments we have and create raw organic analogue tones. We try to avoid overproducing, over-layering instruments, over-mixing/polishing etc… For us it’s fun to create tracks with only three instruments. The notion “less is best” has been our strength to create music that other producers could eventually sample in the future.
