In 1986, founded the experimental hard-core band, BOREDOMS. Paving the way as the leader, he garnered worldwide recognition through touring with Sonic Youth, Nirvana, and other acts in Europe and America. Since 2001, as V∞REDOMS, he evolved to a more symbolic, more comprehensive style of expression, performing in a circle of formed of three drums and a DJ. In 2007, he presented 77BOADRUM — a collaborative event with 77 drums, and in 2008, 88BOADRUM, in LA and NY. Currently, entering another phase as BOREDOMS. In addition to creating the album artwork for Beck’s Midnite Vultures, and publishing NANOO, WEOEM and ONGALOO, he has worked on various artwork in parallel to music. In recent years, following his presentations DOT KAY DOT at the Sapporo International Festival of the Arts in 2017, and SADOT CAY DOT at the 2018 Sado Island Galaxy Art Festival, his new series RECORN has been presented in 2019 at Iron Island FES (Tokyo) and BLOCK HOUSE (Harajuku).
